Next Chapter Mentorship Program
Next Chapter is a mentorship and reintegration program designed to support individuals involved in the justice system as they build stable, independent, and meaningful lives. This program is funded by Ministry of the Solicitor General (SOLGEN)
The program provides personalized, wraparound support to help participants navigate barriers related to employment, housing, mental health, and community reintegration. Through a combination of one-on-one mentorship, goal planning, and coordinated service delivery, participants are supported in identifying their strengths, setting realistic goals, and taking actionable steps toward long-term success.
Each participant works collaboratively with staff to develop an individualized service plan focused on key areas such as employment readiness, education, life skills, and personal development. The program emphasizes accountability, consistency, and empowerment, ensuring participants are not only supported but also actively engaged in their own progress.
A core component of Next Chapter is mentorship, including guidance from staff with lived experience who can provide relatable insight, encouragement, and practical support throughout the reintegration journey.
By addressing both immediate needs and long-term goals, Next Chapter helps participants build the foundation necessary to reduce recidivism, strengthen community connections, and move forward with confidence into their next chapter.
