Better Jobs Ontario (BJO)
The Better Jobs Ontario program (formerly known as Second Career) is an application-based grant program funded by the Government of Ontario. Eligible applicants can receive up to $28,000 for training programs lasting up to 1 year (52 weeks) or up to $35,000 for longer training programs lasting up to 2 years, helping cover costs such as tuition, living expenses, and transportation. The program is designed to help unemployed individuals gain the skills needed to transition into high-skill, in-demand occupations.

BJO Eligibility:
- Have been laid off or unemployed for six months or more
- Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen
- Training program must meet Better Jobs Ontario requirements
